New York State recorded $116 million in gross gaming revenue from online sports betting during June 2026, marking one of the lowest monthly totals in recent months. This figure represents the first time since August 2024 that the monthly gross gaming figure has fallen below $150 million.
The latest data indicates a 43.4 percent year-on-year decline from the $206.5 million posted in June 2025. On a monthly basis, revenue dropped 42.8 percent from the $204.1 million recorded in May.
Wagering Handle Trends
Despite the lower revenue, June delivered strong results for online sports betting handle. The total reached $2.25 billion, rising 36.6 percent from the $1.6 billion seen in June 2025. Month-over-month, handle increased by 5.7 percent compared to May’s $2.1 billion.
